Randomly came across this in a day trip to Canterbury. We walked into a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cakes looked delicious but the chocolate and coconut cake caught my eye. Portions are generous and everything tasted great. I love the sense of community that they bring

The owners of this cafe support learners with learning difficulties to help them develop and grow in communication skills and confidence. The young people tend to the tables looking after customers, taking orders, and serving your order to you. The service and food were good.

Lovely lunch at this lovely little cafe in Castle Street. The salad was delicious with the sandwich and the banana cake also delicious too. Lovely atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. We highly recommend a visit to this community cafe.

"Reasonably priced, friendly hosts and lovely food", this is my one line review of Chatterbox. I popped in on a chilly January morning for a spot of brunch. We ordered a ham and cheese toastie and avocado on toast, with a poached egg, plus a peppermint tea and large cappuccino. Very, reasonable at £19.00 . Great ambience and not fussy. Tourists: it's worth the short walk from Canterbury High Street

Small beautiful coffee shop, quite open on the inside and comfortable. Love the interior design and colour scheme. Only came in for a mocha and a pecan cake. The mocha was made really well, and the cake was delicious. Looking forward to eating inside next.

I’ve tried so many good carrot cakes before, but this Chatterbox served the best carrot cake ever! The cream frosting was sweet which was perfect with the cake. I like the crunchy texture from the pistachio and almond. Chef’s kisses

Very nice place serving good food and a cozy atmosphere. We were lucky enough to have good weather so we ate on the terrace in the back in the shade of the parasol. Love the community feel and the easy chatter sounds on the terrace.
